The UCF Knights (9-3; 7-1 C-USA) soundly defeated the UAB Blazers (3-9; 2-6 C-USA) 49-24 Saturday at UCF’s Bright House Networks Stadium. The win earned the Knights the 2012 C-USA East Division Crown and will place them in a rematch against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (9-3; 7-1 C-USA) for the Conference USA Championship this Saturday. The Knights lost to Tulsa just two weeks ago 23-21. A win at that game would’ve secured UCF’s home field as the site for the game. But the loss meant UCF will face Tulsa in their home.
