The fantastically phenomenal musical movie of the year Les Miserables has been nominated for Best Picture by the Producers Guild of America. The significance of the PGA nomination is its probable transfer to a coveted Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. In the last five years, the film that has won Best Picture from the PGA has gone on to win the same award from the Academy. Les Miz will compete against a slew of other films including Life of Pi, Skyfall, Argo, and Django Unchained among others. Les Miserables, from Universal Pictures, is playing nationwide and is rated PG-13.
